    Have seen multiple locations and have always wanted to try so we stopped by for some lunch. Everything seemed to be made to order and service is fast and friendly. Love the cute mini bottles of Vermont syrup and the ranch sauce is good. Food overall is awesome. With probably the BEST waffle fries I've ever eaten! They are crispy hot and fresh! The Nashville chicken tenders had the perfect spice and decent sized. We also ordered the salad, chocolate waffle, and a waffle sandwich. All the food was on point. Only slightly disappointing thing was the lemonade - it was overly sugary and tasted like they just poured straight sugar and flavoring in the drink. But other than that, would recommend coming here for a bite!

    Hit up Bruxie in North Hollywood after a major craving for chicken & waffles, I had seen them recently on Yelp and just so happened to be passing through the NoHo area. I ordered the fried chicken and waffles with honey hot seasoning.... it was delicious! The maple syrup was pure Vermont syrup aka the real stuff and the chicken was juicy and super flavorful, seasoning was on point. Looking forward to my next visit to try out their signature chicken & waffle sandwich! They don't offer gluten free alternatives, so this has to be one of my cheat meals!! Service was quick and workers were friendly! Clean, very casual laid back atmosphere.

    Came in on a whim while walking through Santa Monica. Ordered the Nashville hot waffle sandwich, standard chicken and waffles, and the angry Mac and cheese. The waffles and maple syrup were fantastic, very buttery and sweet but not too much. Everything had good portion sizes and hit that southern style food craving. Service was great and very attentive. My only complaints - the chicken was not as crispy as advertised on the menu, and the Mac and cheese that is used was likely frozen (taste store bought).

    UPDATE: Went back after a few years and they've expanded their menu. Got the Nashville Hot Chicken and Waffle "sandwich" which was decent, however there was just one small, thin piece of chicken. It was certainly hot with those spices (which I like). However, the waffle wasn't very good -- too sugary and not top quality. I remember them as being much better when they first opened. I noticed people getting various chicken sandwiches on a bun and passing on the waffle - which I'll probably do next time. (And order an extra piece of chicken as I was not full after my $15.00 sandwich). Took awhile too and it wasn't busy at all. Staffing issues I'm guessing.
